Lotus Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Lotus doesn't use analytics or advertising SDKs and doesn't send your decks, cards or study activity to our servers. We don't sell or share your personal data.
Your Leya account
Versions of Lotus that use a Leya account (mimosa on Android first, then every Leya app with its next update) handle your account — username, name, avatar, the agreements you accepted, subscriptions and security checks — as described in the Leya Privacy Notice. Nothing in your account contains your documents or study content.
Your decks and cards
The decks and cards you create are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, they're stored in your own iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit, under your control. We have no access to them.
The mimosa bridge
If you also use mimosa on the same device, Lotus can turn highlights you made there into cards. This works entirely on your device, through a small file both apps can read; nothing is sent over the network.
Notifications
Review reminders are scheduled on your device from your own cards' review dates. No push service or third-party server is involved.
Purchases
Lotus has no purchases of its own. Its one paid feature, the mimosa bridge, unlocks with mimosa Pro, which Apple processes; Lotus never sees your payment details.
Permissions
Lotus asks for notifications only if you turn on review reminders. Images and deck files you pick yourself in the system's own picker; Lotus sees only what you choose.
Children's privacy
Lotus doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
